Born July 30, 1972

I've lived by the ocean for almost my entire life. I spent one year living in Vail, Colorado when I was 22 years old. I honestly would have preferred surfing in the frigid Atlantic Ocean in the middle of February over snowboarding.

There are so many things about the ocean that inspire me- the taste of salt on my cracked lips, the feeling of freedom I get from flying down the face of a perfect (or sometimes not-so-perfect) wave, the feeling of helplessness when being tossed around by a closeout set, the sound sleep that overtakes my body after a good session.

God blesses us all in his own way. The ocean is a beautiful reminder that He loves us.
