Born in Austin, Texas in 1979 Ashley graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2000 with a BFA/Painting. She studied in Rome, Italy as a part of RISD’s European Honors Program then moved to Brooklyn, NY and worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the Drawings and Prints collection.

Her work was included in the “Women in Surfing” exhibit co-produced by the Surfing Heritage Foundation and the Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum. She now lives in Topanga Canyon.
